Setup
Setup and Run IBVA4 application.
First time use IBVA.
1: Put one 9V battery to IBVA unit (amplifier and bluetooth box)
Setup head sensor pad and cable connector
1: put three electrode to head sensor pad.
2: connect sensor cable connector (6 pin) to IBVA unit.
3: put head sensor pad to forehead (center electrode to center forehead) and hold it with head band. put ear clip to left ear.
* head pad and head band may
looks left or right image.
if it is left image need to connect
sensor cable connector (3 pin) to
head pad.
Install IBVA4, Power ON IBVA unit and Run IBVA4
1: Put IBVA4 DVD to Mac dvd drive. Read “ReadMeIBVA4”.
2: Run install application “IBVA4upkg”, “IBVAAUPkg” and “IBVA4qcPkg”.
3: Eject IBVA4 DVD and keep safety.
4: Power ON IBVA unit.
5: Run IBVA4 application which you will find in the Application/IBVA4 folder
6: Select menu IBVA4 / Setup / Port ON to make communication with IBVA unit.
Start to show raw wave and start recording brain wave.
7: Select : Recording/Control Panel shows recording control panel.
8: Click "Noise Check" to start AC noise test.
In case AC noise is over 150 micro V need to check electrode and skin contact.
AC noise may increase when IBVA unit is close to computer and other electric device, try re-locate IBVA unit to reduce noise.
After set as low noise un-check "Noise Check" button to start monitor brain wave.
9: Select Graph/Waterfall Window -> shows left and right graph.
10: Select "Untitled" window, then File/Save for save file in case you like.
11: Select Help/Open Manual shows manual
12: Select IBVA4/Quit IBVA for quit IBVA4.
13: Power off transmitter switch.
14: Off headset and keep safety. Do not vend headset the part of electrode.
