Setup and Run IBVA4 application.

First time use IBVA.

1: Put the 9V battery inside the IBVA unit (the amplifier and bluetooth box)

2: Next you need to Setup Bluetooth port (pairing).

How to setup and wear the head sensor pad and cable connector

1: Put three electrodes onto the blue head sensor pad, and remove their protective film.

2: Connect the sensor cable connector (6 pin) to the IBVA unit ( white dot facing up ), this will connect to the left side of the headpad.

3: Put the blue head sensor pad against the forehead forehead (cental electrode aligns with the center of the forehead), the electrodes should adhere firmly with all the foam stuck down. You may also hold this in place with the head band. Finally put the metal ear clip onto left ear.

* You need to connect a sensor cable connector (4 pin) to

head pad. ( white dot to white dot )

Install IBVA4, Turn Power ON IBVA unit and Run IBVA4

1: Put IBVA4 DVD to Mac dvd drive. Read “ReadMeIBVA4”.

2: Copy IBVA4 folder to Applications folder.

3: Run install application “IBVA4upkg”, “IBVAAUPkg” and “IBVA4qcPkg”.

4: Eject IBVA4 DVD and keep safety.

5: Turn the switch on the bluetooth to ON.

    -> setup Bluetooth pairing ( only one time need to this )

After setup Bluetooth pairing :

6: Run IBVA4 application which you will find in the Applications/IBVA4 folder

7: Select menu IBVA4 / Setup / Port ON to start the communication with the IBVA unit.

You will start to see the raw wave generating and now start recording brain waves.

8: Select : Recording/Control Panel shows the recording control panel.

9: Click "Noise Check" to start AC noise test.

In case AC noise is over 150 micro V you need to check electrodes and skin contact.

AC noise may increase when IBVA unit is closer to computer and other electric devices, try to re-locate IBVA unit to reduce noise.

After reducing to low noise un-check "Noise Check" button to start monitoring brain waves.

10: Select Graph/Waterfall Window -> shows left and right graph.

11: Select "Untitled" window, then File/Save for saving files you like.

12: Select Help/Open Manual shows manual

13: Select IBVA4/Quit IBVA for quit IBVA4.

14: Power off  transmitter switch.

15: Take off headset and keep safety. Be careful not to twist cable unnecessarily, Do not bend the blue headset.
