one person system

This system is used for left / right and coherence brain wave experience : using  Channel 1 and Channel 2.

System includes :

blue head pad, cable, head band, electrodes, Bluetooth IBVA, 9V alkaline battery, IBVA DVD and carry case.

Setup procedure:

Snap on 3 new electrodes inside the head pad, peel off the protective film from each electrode, they must be moist and sticky to ensure good contact and signal. Next attach it to the forehead, locating the central electrode to the centre of the forehead, you can secure further with the soft head band over the outside around the head.

Position the head pad with the connectors on your left side.

Ear ‘ground’ cable connects to the left ear.

Follow the white dots on the cable, corresponding with the white dots on the head pad, connect the cable to the head pad and the other end to the CH 1 ( Left ) and CH 2 ( Right ) input of IBVA Bluetooth unit ( white dots face up )

Finally put the battery into IBVA unit (slides onto the black terminal connector and should stay put firmly for constant operation).

For first time install need to setup Bluetooth connection.

Install the main IBVA DVD application.

Put the 6 pin connector with the white dot facing up as shown in this image.

then push it in.

Put the 4 pin connector with white dot side to white dot side on the blue head pad connector.

Noise and connection check:

following images show good electrode and signal contact sample.

In case signal looks like strange then need to check electrode, head set and cable connection.

This system include extra CH3 and CH4 input:

Following procedure is how to use CH 3 and CH 4 :

Operation needs to be done by a specialist electronics technician.

Any damage to the system etc. will not be covered by IBVA warranty.

Bluetooth IBVA unit has an input pin connector for CH 3 and CH 4, located besides the  brain head pad 6P connector pin.

To use this input you need to remove the two 2P short pin connectors from 6P connector input.

Then you can use this pin input for CH 3 and CH 4 input.

This is input for 0 .. 5 V. (  don't put more than 5 V and/or less than 0 V )

You can connect many kind of signals to this pin, such as other brainwave amplifier output, GSR device output, heart amplifier output, etc.

Run IBVA4 and setup 4 ch device and select port for access CH 1, CH 2, CH 3, CH 4.

Also, 8 mm Jack can use as direct CH 1 and CH 2 output.

0 .. 5 V out put.  100 ohm output impedance.

-100 micro V is 0 V out.

center 0 V is 2.5 V out.

+100 micro V is 5 V out.
