System setup for ALAN WHITE:
Use MacBook, MacBook Pro, etc.
Connect camcorder fire wire cable to Mac. This camcorder use for take subject image and stereo sound.
Connect camcorder stereo audio line output to Mac stereo Line input.
or in case use other Stereo Sound recording system then connect Sound recording system stereo audio line output to Mac stereo Line input.
or in case you like hear any kind of Sound / Music or Brainwave generator, then connect that device stereo output to Mac stereo Line input.
in IBVA4 application set ‘Sound Monitor Control Window” Input Device to “Built-in Input”.
also can use virtual Audio connection “Soundflower (2ch)”. This case need to setup virtual Audio input connection of recording device ( like QT recording, etc. ) to “Soundflower (2ch)” then IBVA4 application set “Sound Monitor Control Window” Input Device to “ Soundflower (2ch)”.

use menu “Recording / Start Record Live Video and Brain wave from Start”.
Then show’s movie window and “Video Control Panel”.
need to set location for save Brain wave.
Default movie file save location will be “Users / Shared”.
Click Option in the “Video Control Panel” select “Settings” for Video, recommended to select set compression to “Photo JPEG” ( movie file size will be so big in case not set this, but no compression is nice for first save time. in case you have big hard dive ( like 1T B ), then no need to set compression.). Then select input video device. you can select iSight camera too, this case no need to use external camcorder.
select “Settings” for Sound. you can select internal microphone too, this case no need to use external sound device however can not record stereo sound. you can select Line input in case connect any external sound device and/or you can select “ Soundflower (2ch)” then you can get sound directly from camcorder fire wire cable connection.

This case set 256 Point FFT (show max 30 Hz ) and show one peak.
and one ”Raw wave” display.
Left brain has high Delta power than Right Delta brain power.
Right Brain wave shows continuously 8 Hz Alpha brain power.
Following image is piano sound which experiencer play. his right brain wave show nice alpha continuously when play this sound.
also use two “Sound Waterfall Window”. set one for coherence display.
This case set 1024 Point FFT (show max 2756.25 Hz ) and show one peak.
and one ”Sound Raw wave” display.
