Coherence
Phase differences between left and right brain wave.
important changes for coherence calculation.
High sampling frequency and high speed calculation provide more detail of coherence.
This modification is for new view of coherence.
from IBVA V4.8.9 to IBVA V4.9.5.2 coherence shows 0 .. 90 degree phase difference.
until IBVA V4.8.8 coherence shows 0 .. 45 degree phase difference.
Following display Use IBVA V4.8.9.
R channel data start from phase difference time point purpose for easy to see start point.
This wave sample is 0 degree phase difference
Shows coherence 100 %
This wave sample is 30 degree phase difference
Shows coherence 87 %
This wave sample is 45 degree phase difference
Shows coherence 70 %
This wave sample is 50 degree phase difference
Shows coherence 64 %
This wave sample is 60 degree phase difference
Shows coherence 50 %
This wave sample is 70 degree phase difference
Shows coherence 34 %
This wave sample is 80 degree phase difference
Shows coherence 17 %
This wave sample is 90 degree phase difference
Shows coherence 0 %
Over 90 degree to 359 degree phase difference shows coherence 0 %
360 degree phase difference makes coherence 100 % same as 0 degree.
Recommend to use coherence function to see phase between 0 .. 90 degree.
Need to set high sampling frequency to see detail of coherence.
About 20 times sampling frequency recommended to see 10% resolution of coherence.
in case sin wave data is 50 Hz then need over 1000 Hz sampling.
About 200 times sampling recommended to see 1% resolution of coherence.
in case sampling is 44100 Hz then 220 Hz sin wave can see 1% resolution of coherence.
0 degree phase difference -> coherence 100 %
30 degree phase difference -> coherence 87 %
45 degree phase difference -> coherence 70 %
50 degree phase difference -> coherence 64 %
60 degree phase difference -> coherence 50 %
70 degree phase difference -> coherence 34 %
80 degree phase difference -> coherence 17%
90 degree phase difference -> coherence 0 %
..
180 degree phase difference -> coherence 0 %
..
270 degree phase difference -> coherence 0 %
..
360 degree phase difference = 0 degree phase difference -> coherence 100 %
=============================================
IBVA V4.9.0 + has “Reverse Polarity” Setup in the Preferences / Analyze dialog window.
Show Reverse Polarity to Play display:
Coherence shows 0..90 degree phase. In case phase is over 90 to before 360 degree then coherence shows 0 %, this mean 1/4 phase can see as coherence.
Use this option setup, show same L channel wave CH 1 to CH 3, and R channel wave CH 2 make 180 degree phase to CH 4 as play mode display in the Brain wave display window. ( only brain wave display window ). When select Play mode display then shows 180 degree Polarity sift wave. This way easy to see coherence difference between not phase shift and 180 degree phase shift at once. this mean 1/2 phase can see as coherence.
This setup is only for Live recording brain wave. Also can not play brain wave in the play mode display.
Set Revers Polarity for Brain wave and Sound wave.:
Use this Revers Polarity setup makes 180 degree phase between L & R channel to eliminate 180 degree phase difference. When use “ Show Reverse Polarity to Play display:” no need to set this option for Brain wave.
=====================================================
continuous coherence happen only special stage of brain and mind.
usually coherence happen just like randomly.
we can set coherence BS to generate as random number.
usually by calculation to make random number.
but use coherence BS makes different type of random number.
only special stage of brain mind makes coherence keep continue in some frequency range.
we can set coherence BS to recognize those very special stage of brain and mind then can use as special switch to trigger event.
When this event happen then special sound and image effect happen = only when continuous coherence.
to use this way subject brain really need to be coherence.
we can make BS to any frequency range to make this trigger.
two person's coherence experience is nice for like telepathy experience.
